According to the data for January this year economic entities that reported paying the mandatory social security tax amounted to 211 ths, while about 92% of them e-filed tax returns.
The Ministry of Revenue and Duties underlines a number of people who prefer reporting on the uniform tax electronically grew nearly 2,5 times for the past four reporting periods. At the beginning of October, the outset of the uniform tax administration reform, only 38% of taxpayers used the electronic method for submitting tax returns.
To recap, during the first month of this year 17,6 ths tax payers filed paper applications for tax deductions, while more than 193 ths of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs used the opportunity to do it electronically.
The Ministry of Revenue and Duties explains this growth of electronic filing simplifies tax reporting being more convenient alternative. The only thing taxpayers should do is to download a digital signature certificate and tax preparation software the MRD made available for free download.
