A list of documents to be filled to the tax authorities
The National Tax Inspectorate in Solomiansky district, in Kyiv city, reminds that pursuant to par. 166.1, article 166 of the Tax Code of Ukraine, a taxpayer can exercise the right to a tax credit within a year, until December 31.
To exercise the right to the tax credit, a taxpayer should fill out and submit a declaration of property status and income declaration along with annex 6. If parents file the said declaration, the following documents should be submitted, too;
- a scanned copy and original agreement with an educational institution;
- a scanned copy and original receipts of payment for education courses in 2013;
- a scanned copy and original child’s birth certificate;
- a scanned copy and original document showing the child’s identification number;
- a scanned copy and original document showing the parent’s identification number;
- salary certificate, calculations and deductions of individual income tax and social security contributions.
The declaration should state (confirm) that the other parent does not exercise the right to education tax credit.
For students working and obtaining salary:
- a scanned copy and original agreement with an educational institution;
- a scanned copy and original receipts of payment for education courses in 2013;
- a scanned copy and original document showing the identification number
- salary certificate, calculations and deductions of individual income tax and social security contributions.
If the agreement does not state how many months the education course lasts, it is required to give a certificate from the educational institution with detailed information (duration of semesters) about the accounting period (year).
