In Ukraine (excluding the temporary occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city), the unemployment rate in February 2015 was 2%, the same as a month ago, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports with reference to the National Statistics Committee.
In February 2015, the National Employment Service registered 523.4 thousand jobless people (as compared to 524.4 thousand unemployed persons a month ago), including 421.6 thousand people obtaining unemployment benefits.
Urban dwellers and rural residents numbered 304.3 thousand and 218.8 thousand people out of work, respectively.
Meantime, the average amount of the financial aid per unemployed person in February 2015 amounted to 1.206 thousand hryvnias, by 46 hryvnias less as compared to January.
