First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko claimed that the reformed Constitution of Ukraine is the political turbulence, and noted the importance of introduction of amendments to the Constitution, in particular, to the judicial reform, Ukrinform reports.
She said it during VII National Expert Forum “Points of Growth”, organized by Gorshenin Institute, Kyiv.
“The reformation of the Constitution is the step to instability or political turbulence, because the reformed Constitution is the turbulence itself. The reformation of the Constitution is the reformation of the country. It is absolutely evident that the judicial reform is one of key tasks, which the Ukrainian parliament and community face”, she said.
Meanwhile, as concerns the introduction of amendments to the Constitution in terms of decentralization, Gerashchenko said that still, there is no agreement in the society and political elite on the specifics of local self-government on Donbass.
