Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the cancellation of coefficients applied to environmental tax rates for disposal of withdrawn vehicles, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Oleh Proskuriakov announced
According to him, the government approved the bill as a whole at today's meeting, but it has yet to be finalized with the Ministry of revenue and duties, then the document will be forwarded to the Parliament.
As reported, the Law "On the disposal of withdrawn vehicles" came into force on 8 August, the Law "On Amendments to the Tax Code on the payment of the environmental tax" enacted 1 September 2013.
Passed laws exempt domestic automakers from the fee under guarantees of creating utilization facilities.
Meantime, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to refine legislation on recycling, bringing its provisions into conformity with the norms of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and to cancel adjustment coefficients.
The European Union has noted a serious impact on bilateral economic relations with Ukraine after the enactment of the law on the disposal of withdrawn vehicles.
