Verification can be carried out by year's end
By the end of 2013 real estate owners can voluntarily carry out reconciliation of the number of their properties and the size of their living space, the press service of Ministry of Revenues informs.
According to experts at the Ministry of Revenues, today the register of property taxpayers is being formed along with their registration. Therefore, this reconciliation will help avoid confusion in calculating the amount of tax next year.
Regional divisions of the Ministry of Revenues, in turn, have sent an invitation to come to the reconciliation procedure to those citizens who, according to the register, pay the property tax.
Whereas, in accordance with applicable law, the property tax for the current year shall be paid in 2014, citizens will receive a receipt for payment of the accrued amounts from April. The tax is payable within two months. To avoid the rush, queues and unnecessary stress, specialists of the Ministry of Revenues offer property owners in advance, i.e. before 31 December 2013, to verify their data.
