The tax amnesty in Ukraine - the so-called “zero tax return” - stimulates the honesty of citizens and will simplify the operation of the tax service. The people’s deputy of Ukraine Alexander Kirsh expressed such opinion, Obozrevatel reports.
According to Kirsh, the progress of tax amnesty will depend on the approved law. According to the people’s deputy, the Verkhovna Rasa registered “very many” draft laws.
“It would be fair if there were the law, under which those funds, which the man wants to declare, but cannot explain their origin, should also be declared; some tax must be paid from them. Probably, it is somewhat less than standard in order to stimulate the honesty. And after that there will be the opportunity in the following declaration to track only difference with this initial level. I.e. there should be some starting point”, Kirsh thinks.
According to him, in the meantime the state should have the opportunity to check the reliability of specified data. Otherwise, there will appear problems, about which the opponents of such scenario of tax amnesty warn.
“If the tax is less than standard, it will be declared more than it is. With a key to the future. That is why here both viewpoints have the right to exist”, the deputy considers.
