TransferGo cancelled commission for servicing money transfers to Ukraine, according to the press release of the company, ET reports.
“This initiative of the company allows the Ukrainian migrants to send money from Europe to home absolutely free of charge; i.e. without commission for the service. The sent funds are received on the card account of the recipient in Ukraine within two-three days”, as explained in the message.
According to the message, as per the data of TransferGo, in Q1, 2018, the Ukrainian migrants in in European countries conducted over 45 ths transactions in Ukraine for the amount, higher than 8 mln euros that 10 times exceeds the indicators for the same period of the last year.
“We expect that during the following seven years, the market of digital money transfers in the world will increase five times. The zero commission for money transfers to Ukraine became possible thanks to international investments”, CEO of TransferGo Daumantas Dvilinskas quoted in the message.
TransferGo was founded in 2012 in UK with the headquarters in London. Currently, the company services payments in 47 countries of Europe, Asia and Latin America with offices in Berlin, Vilnius and Warsaw.
The company has been operating in Ukraine since 2017.
