Ukraine ranked 66th out of 160 countries in WB’s benchmarking Logistics Performance Index, according to the bank’s website.
Thus, in the benchmarking, Ukraine scored 2.83 points, and, in comparison to the previous version of benchmarking, (the survey is made once per two years) it rose by 14 positions and is located between Serbia and Egypt.
It is noted that it became third after Estonia (3.3 points, 36th place) and Lithuania (3.02 points, 54th place) among the post-Soviet countries.
Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Austria and Japan are the first top five countries of the ranking. The Netherlands, Singapore, Denmark, United Kingdom and Finland are the next top five countries.
The ranking includes a total of five directions for researches: customs procedures (Ukraine scored 2.4 points in it), infrastructure (2.2 points), international cargo transportation (2.8 points), logistical competency (2.8 points), cargo tracking (3.1 points) and timeliness of delivery (3.4 points). Meanwhile, the higher the point is, the stronger position the country has in the specified category.
