The commission meeting
At its meeting held on June 24, 2014, the State Commission for Securities & Stock Market of Ukraine passed a decision on entering changes to the procedure for clearing activity reporting to be filed to the Ukraine’s SCSSM, the press-office of the SCSSM reports.
«The procedure has been revised with the purpose of bringing it in compliance with the requirements set out in the regulation on prudential standards for professional activity – depositary activity, in the stock market, and requirements for risk management approved a year ago. It is worth noting that changes to the regulations used to evaluate and assess risks a person engaged into clearing activity can encounter will soon come into force– on July 1», - explained Irina Kurochkina, Director of Depositary & Clearing Regulation at the SCSSM.
Moreover, the regulation changes enacted are about the composition, procedure and deadlines set for those involved in clearing activity and obliged to provide administrative data, the information about calculation of ratios and adherence to the prudential standards.
Now the document is being drafted for further registration with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
