The US pop singer Madonna regained the title of the highest earning solo artist as per results of her world tour RebelHeart, Billboard reports. It is known that the last concert was held on March 20 in Sydney, and the publication has already had a chance to sum up the results.
Billboard notes that the total profit from the concert tour made up $169.8 mln, and Madonna’s total income from concerts made up 1.3 billion.
According to Billboard magazine, which keeps count of revenues of artists since 1990, Madonna ranked top in the rating of the highest-earning performers in 2009. However, later she conceded her title to Bruce Springsteen. Now the artist regained this title again.
Madonna pulled down the female fan’s top during the show.
It is reported that Rolling Stones ($1.84 bln) ranks top in the total list of the highest earning artists in the history. U2 ranks second ($1.67 bln). Madonna closes the top three.
