US President told about those things, on which the USA and Russia will never reach agreement, according to the Kremlin, Correspondent.net reports.
The Kremlin gave details of the telephone conversation between presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
During the interview to CNN, Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitri Peskov claimed that the conversation was “far-reaching”.
“Trump does not cover up the fact that he does not agree with Russia on many things, but he is pragmatic enough to say that we need to speak, that we need to carry on the dialog, that we need to compare our positions in order to find common positions”, he told.
According to Peskov, Trump also told about those things, on which the USA and Russia will never reach agreement.
“And although there are some dead ends in our relationships, he says that there are some questions, on which we will never reach agreement, on which we will never reach agreement with you, Russians. Meanwhile, he says that we need to call a meeting and start carrying on a dialogue. However, unfortunately, we do not have better understanding of when this dialogue can start”, Peskov noted.
The day before, The Wall Street Journal wrote that Trump undertook unexpected toughening measures against Russia. Previously, the mass media found out that Trump would like to postpone the deal with Moscow on the joint fight against ISIS.
