The forum, devoted to investments in the agriculture, was held in Astana. During it, the agreement on disbursement of a loan, amounting to 100 million euros, for development of a small and medium agribusiness in Kazakhstan was signed, Today.kz reports.
Chairman of the Bank Umberto Del Panta and Chairman of the Management Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC Narmukhan Sarybaev signed the financial agreement.
According to the agreement, the European Bank will disburse a loan for 10 years. The allocated 100 million euros plan to spend on the funding of the projects on adaptation to climate change and its consequences in the agrarian sector of RK.
The chairman of the management board of ACC Narmukhan Sarybaev explained that “the adaptation to climate change and its consequences” implies the cultivation of crops, releasing a large number of oxygen, and the replacement of technical equipment to more modern one.
ACC’s chairman also reported that the reached agreement with the European Investment Bank is the result of a complex two-year work. However, the loan, amounting to 100 million euros, across the whole agricultural industry of Kazakhstan, is not so big.
