The quarantine will be introduced from January 16 and will continue until the improvement of epidemiological situation.
Kyiv authorities have taken a decision to introduce quarantine to educational and health care institutions of the capital and impose restrictions on running public events, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“This is a preventive measure, since we see negative dynamics on the number of patients. Considering the specificity of the virus and heavy complications from influenza, we have preventions of the outbreak of seasonal diseases”, said Klychko.
He also addressed to the owners of pharmacy chains of the capital regarding prevention of price increase on antiviral and immune-stimulating drugs and vitamins.
The prophylactic quarantine will be introduced from Saturday, January 16, and will continue until the improvement of epidemiological situation.
It should be reminded that the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine uses all opportunities for providing aid in procurement of medical and pharmacy chains in regions with necessary antivirus drugs – through attraction of humanitarian aid and sustainable business.
