The Ministry of Finance has completed the preparation of drafts for quarterly public reports of state-owned banks. The relevant documents were published on September 1 for familiarization on the official website of the department. After discussion by market participants, the templates will make mandatory for all public sector banks and will publish detailed reports 4 times a year on the website of the Ministry of Finance, ubr.ua reports.
It should be noted that the acting head of the Ministry of Finance Oksana Markarova spoke on the idea to prepare regular reporting on the activities of state banks in mid-August. By September 1, the officials promised to develop templates, and from November 1 - to start publishing the latest infographics.
The department proposes to move away from the classical tabular feed and make information in the form of graphs and diagrams. And the report itself is divided into three components:
Summary indicators of state banks (number of branches, share in the structure of liabilities and assets, portfolio dynamics and efficiency);
- Key indicators of each of the 4 state banks (except for key data on the dynamics of portfolios, they will disclose information on the number of active customers, turnover in the network of POS-terminals, commission income and turnover of payments of individuals).
- Data on the work with the problem (the table will include information on the share of NPL in the structure of assets of the three state-owned banks.) Information on Privatbank will be provided separately - with detailed explanations of the work done).
