The Cabinet of Ministers forecasts that the inflation level in 2019 will not be higher than 10%, Prime Minister of Ukrainee Vladimir Groisman said during the forum “Full Mobilization: General Action Plan”, Ukrinform reports.
“For us, it is very important to keep inflation lower than the two-digit figure, i.e. lower than 10%. In principle, it is what we plan for the next year in the state budget”, Groisman said.
According to him, in addition, it is forecast that the deficit ceiling will decrease from 2.4% to 2.2% - “This is the margin, which we need to keep”. Groisman said.
Groisman assured that the draft state budget for the next year will be submitted for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada by September 15.
It should be reminded that the consumer prices did not change in August 2018 versus the previous month, while they increased by 3.6% since the beginning of the year.
