Figure grew to 37%
In 2013 farmers filled the consolidated state budget with 47 billion UAH, according to the Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Press Service of Ministry of AgroPolitics informs.
«Last year, the agricultural sector has remained the leader to fill in the budget-sector of the national economy. Thus, 47 billion UAH revenues are expected in the Consolidated Budget from agricultural enterprises in 2013. It should be noted that filling of budget revenues by enterprises is growing steadily each year. In particular, in 2010 the figure grew to 37%. This is a significant increase» - said the Minister.
Mykola Prysiazhnyuk stressed that agriculture is among the leaders of budget revenues among sectors of the domestic economy. However, budget support for industry remains insufficient.
«The Cabinet has passed a draft of the state budget for 2014 to Parliament. And the document is already under consideration by the committee. Lets recall that, compared to 2012, it is planned to increase financial support for livestock farming. However, we continue to insist on increasing budget support for cooperation, development of farming, small-and medium-sized agricultural production», - said the head of department.
According to Mykola Prisyazhnyuk Ministry of Agriculture defends strengthening budgetary support of agriculture and rural development in the adoption of the budget in 2014 by the Parliament.
