The award will be 1.3 million UAH
The Cabinet today approved the size of the National Taras Shevchenko Prize of Ukraine of 1 million 300 thousand UAH. This information was reported by MP from the Party of Regions Anna Herman (in the lobby of Parliament), RBC- Ukraine informs.
National Taras Shevchenko Prize of Ukraine (Shevchenko Prize) is a State Award of Ukraine, the biggest creative award in Ukraine for contribution to the development of culture and art starting from 1961.
In 2013 the monetary part of the Shevchenko Prize was 260 thousand UAH.
