Prime Minister targets for the development of automotive industry
Targeted Economic Development Program on automotive cars till 2020 envisages an increase in the share of manufactured cars in Ukraine to 70%, as the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, opening day session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced, RBC- Ukraine informs.
According to Azarov, the program aims to create conditions for Ukraine to increase production of Ukrainian passenger cars to 735 thousand units and increase export capacity to 220 thousand units in 2020, to increase the domestic market share of passenger cars produced in Ukraine to 70 % and create 176 thousand new jobs in the manufacturing of automobiles and their components.
р.It is essential that the concept provides for the implementation of international standards (ISO) and European standards (EN) in the automotive industry in the national standardization system, the introduction of modern environmental standards, incentives for advanced technologies, a new quality productsр. - Azarov said.
