Since the beginning of 2018, Oshchadbank issued over 1,300 car loans, totaling UAH 700 mln that is five times more than the same period of the previous year, the bank’s press office reports.
In October, the state bank reached the record level of issuing car loans – up to 200 loans per loans.
On the car loan market, the bank ranks fourth. In 2018, its share reached 14%, having increased by 10% since the beginning of the year.
The most popular car model, bought on credit, were Renault, Toyota, KIA, Hyundai, Audi, BMW.
The car loans are mostly popular among the premium clients. Thus, in terms of volumes of selling Mercedes-Benz on credit, Oshchadbank is the leader among other Ukrainian banks with the highest loan share.
100% of Oshchadbank’s shares are state-owned. According to NBU, as of July 1, 2017, in terms of amount of assets, the bank ranked second (UAH 220.7 bln) among 88 operating banks.
