Minrevenue is not blocking the humanitarian supplies
Ministry of revenue and duties of Ukraine officially declares that all customs clearance procedures on humanitarian goods arriving in Ukraine are performed exclusively within the framework of customs legislation. Therefore, charges that are spread by some media about the alleged "Ministry blockade of humanitarian goods" are not true, the press service of Minrevenue says.
Today clearance of humanitarian aid in customs of Minrevenueis carried out during 4 hours according to the resolution on the recognition of humanitarian goods, presentation of goods and submission to the established order of the customs declaration and all necessary documents. There are no such goods, processing of which was delayed at least for an hour.
Humanitarian cargo that arrived from Poland and allegedly blocked by the Ministry arrived at Jagodinska customs of Minrevenue on 2 of February 2014 at 18.17. After 23 min. (at 18.40), it went to Kyiv.
From 3 of February 2014 humanitarian aid is at Kyiv Interregional customs temporary storage of Minrevenue to obtain the necessary permits and documents specified by applicable law.
Overall, during the past year 10 thousand tons of humanitarian aid were imported in Ukraine. The total amount of imported goods amounted to more than $ 41 million.
In particular, 455 tons of humanitarian aid on nearly $ 1.6 million was imported from Poland to Ukraine in 2013.
