The positive balance of payments for 2013 totaled of $2 billion
Despite political opposition, there are no fundamental economic reasons for concern, including the exchange rate. This was announced during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, said First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov, his press office informs.
«Political uncertainty weighs on cash market. There is tension, despite the lack of economic justification for this. Yesterday, the National Bank has published the balance of payments in the past year. The balance is positive, it is $ 2 billion. I recall, that, the balance was «minus» $ 4 billion in 2012, $ 2 billion - last year» - he said.
First Deputy Prime Minister also said that the government is working to reduce the negative impact of the political situation in the economic process.
Thus Sergey Arbuzov found that they could not avoid such effects completely.
