Profit reduced in 3.5 times
The profit of the banking system of Ukraine amounted to 1.4 billion UAH in 2013, which is 3.5 times lower than the profit on the basis of 2012. This was mentioned in a statement of the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to the regulator, the income of banks of Ukraine in 2013 compared to 2012 increased by 12.3 % - to 168.9 bln. UAH, expenses - by 15.0 %, to 167.5 billion UAH.
The highest rates of return in 2013 are recorded in the following banks:
Privat Bank - 1.873 billion UAH;
UGB - 1.002 billion UAH;
Raiffeisen Bank Aval - 730.045 mln UAH
