Last week prices grew by 15-20%
Last week tour operators raised prices by 15-20%, said Head of Tour Operators Association of Ukraine, Igor Golubaha, as reported by 112 UA.
The situation has already become more stable, and those clients who managed to purchase tours before the currency tumult have saved their money. Price of tours abroad changed each day; every morning tour operators calculated the tour costs anew according to the travel market rate.
«Tourism depends too much on various field factors, starting from occurrences, natural disasters, political convulsions and economic challenges», - said Igor Golubaha.
Those who have already booked their tours and paid in advance haven’t encountered any problems. «If the tour cost was paid partly, the remaining amount will be calculated anew according to the exchange rate on the date of payment» , - explains Client Manager of Tour Network Elizaveta Kolomiets. Nowadays, the situation is more or less stable, yet with less payment discounts for tours.
