New construction has increased
According to the data from the Uniform Registry for Permit Documents, new construction starts amounted to 116,2 ths in 2013, which is 6% more than in 2012. While before the introduction of the building permit reform in 2011, about 40 ths documents permitting new construction were issued annually. It has been reported by the press-service of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate.
«Analysis of permit documents issued per month shows its constant growth as compared to similar periods in preceding years, with an upward trend in construction in general» - said Chair of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate Alexander Rybak.
Meantime, a number of completed construction projects persistently increase.
In 2013 documents certified commissioning of about 98 ths buildings, which is 5% more than in 2012.
Analysis of permit documents shows that in 2013 construction starts based on building permits of IV-V category of difficulty amounted to only 0,8% (1020), which is 20% less than those in the preceding year. However, the permits issued made up 51,2% (59,5 ths) of construction starts, while actually their number totaled 48% (55,7 ths). This permit-document index didn’t undergo any change over the year of 2013.
