320 mln hryvnias were disbursed for social security benefits
The second tranche to cover payments of social security benefits in March amounted to 320 mln hryvnias, Lyudmila Denisova, Minister for Social Policy said, the press-office of this governmental institution reports.
«According to the real-time data, the Treasury of Ukraine transferred 320 mln hryvnias as the second tranche to finance social security pays to be made in March. Accordingly, low income families, families with children, disabled children and those with a disability since childhood will receive these money in the near future», - Lyudmila Denisova said.
The Minister underscored that as at March 24 nearly 316,9 mln hryvnias were handed over to the district social security administrations. Moreover, she added that 73,5 mln hryvnias have been already transferred to the accounts of banking institutions and post offices to be further distributed among the support payment recipients , which make up 23% of the second tranche.
Lyudmila Denisova reminded that the first tranche of the government financial support towards social care in March amounted to 3,4 bln hryvnias, and was completed on March 13.
