Checks have been carried out
On completion of the investigation, the General Prosecutor Office of Ukraine ascertained that during 2011-2012 the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine made crucial decisions, without announcing any bids, i.e. having given 48 special permits to Golden Derrick company for usage of oil and gas fields in Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the press-office of the GPO reports.
It was also established that 26 decisions were passed in the absence of documents that are required pursuant to the relevant law. As regards 16 more sites which the same company was allowed to explore and use during two years, the said company did not pay more than 5 million hryvnias to the government budget for the geological survey data backing up and proving availability of fossil minerals.
For now, after interference of the General Prosecutor Office of Ukraine, they were abrogated.
Apart from the said above, 6 special permits received by this company that allow to use mineral wealth have been revoked, due to non-fulfiment of special requirements set out in the legislation and some other violations of the legislative norms covering the use of oil and gas fields.
