The resolution has taken effect
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has given an instruction to reduce a number of staff cars used by this government institution by half. A relevant resolution passed by the Prime-Minister of Ukraine № 276-р was printed earlier today in the Government Courier newspaper, the RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Украина) reports.
Pursuant to the resolution, with the view to facilitate economical and rational use of funds disbursed from the government budget, the Operational & Finance Unit of the CMU’s Secretariat has been instructed to reduce a number of staff cars of the automobile company managed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by 50%.
Furthermore, the Minister of the CMU has been entrusted with endorsing the procedure for use of staff cars to support activity of the CMU and its Secretariat, with considering the recommendation to the Government Administration of Affairs and Ukraine’s Parliament Executive Office to monitor that the cars used for providing transport services to President, Government Executive Office, Government Administration of Affairs, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are reduced by 50%.
It is reported that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has been assigned to take into consideration a recommendation to cut down expenses when preparing a draft law on entering changes to Law of Ukraine On Government Budget of Ukraine for 2014, as regards the funds to cover expenditure incurred by the Operational & Finance Unit at the CMU’s Secretariat, Government Executive Office, Government Administration of Affairs, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, proceeding from the reduction of staff cars by 50%.
