The State Statistics Service of Ukraine has published figures
In January-February of 2014 the amounts paid by the Ukrainian government for goods, works and services totalled UAH 116, 631,7, 000, the purchases made not following the procurement procedures amounted to UAH 105, 700, 900, the RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Украина) reports, citing the data provided by the Ukraine’s State Statistics Service.
The funds of government bodies, public and utility enterprises made up UAH 48, 355, 300 out of this amount, with UAH 10, 891, 200 being the funds of business companies with a government share or a share of utility companies exceeding 50%.
In the period under report, for purchase of goods, payment for works and services about UAH 13, 034, 400 were earmarked from the Ukraine’s government budget; UAH 110, 700 – from that of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, UAH 14, 854 – from budgets of regional and city administrations; UAH 120, 800 - the NBU’s funds; with funds of government bodies, public and utility enterprises amounting to UAH 16, 513, 500; contributions of business companies with a government share or a share of utility companies exceeding 50% reached UAH 8, 236, 700; etc.
