Ukrainians bought $259,1 million
Purchase of foreign currencies by the population in Ukraine amounted to $259,1 million in April 2014, the report of the National Bank of Ukraine Main Tendencies in the Currency Market of Ukraine in April 2014, the RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Украина) reports.
In April 2014 the amounts in US dollars bought by population reached $ 427,1 million. In March 2014 the Ukrainians bought $967 million. Thus, in April this figure is more than twice less.
At the same time, in April 2014 the Ukrainians sold $686,2 million that exceeds the figures for March 2014 ($609,4 million) by 12,6%.
