The sector of public services is awaiting reforms
The Ministry of justice of Ukraine has launched a suite of reforms on provision of public services in Ukraine, which make simpler not only the procedure for registration and certificate issue, but also eliminate the corruption and red tape related to provision of administrative services, said Minister for Justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko at the press-conference, the press-office of the ministerial department reports.
According to the Minister, Ukraine will adopt the Georgia’s best practices. He shared his information about forming the task force on a pro-bono basis that will deal with reforming the system of administrative services in Ukraine, and will be comprised of experts from Georgia, too.
The Chair of the Ministry of Justice said it is planned to open a set of public service centres in Kyiv city in the near future. Besides, according to the Minister, a decision to form the task force that will consist of registration clerks who will be commissioned to the regions reporting the problems with registration of ownership rights on real estate.
The next step in changing the way the administrative services are provided should be endorsement of a set of bills by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which set forth the rules simplifying the registration procedure in Ukraine.
The Minister for Justice added that a draft bill on introduction of the online registration system in Ukraine is being considered and examined now by the parliament, which stipulates possibility to apply for registration through the Internet.
