The State Statistics Committee reports
Financial highlights of large- and small-sized enterprises of Ukraine for the 1st quarter of 2014 show that their losses totalled – UAH 128, 477, 400 (before taxes) against profit equalling UAH 1, 276, 800, according to the data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, RBK-Ukraine РБК-Україна reports.
Thus, the profit of enterprises for the period under review made up UAH 101, 734,400, while their losses equalled UAH 230, 211, 800.
Moreover, a number of unprofitable large- and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine in January-March of 2014 reached 50%, being half of the total amount, as compared to 45,3% for the three months of 2013.
It is worth noting that in 2013 the end of year total profit of large-and small-sized enterprises amounted to UAH 24,7 million.
