The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure for pension disbursement and rendering social services to the citizens of Ukraine residing on the territory of the Crimean Republic and Sevastopol city, who wish to get pensions pursuant to the legislation of Ukraine, Ostap Semerak, Minister of the Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, said at the briefing held in the House of Government, the public affairs officers report.
O.Semerak ‘s view is that the resolution which introduces the procedure for disbursement of pensions and rendering social services, including paying social security benefits, to the citizens of Ukraine residing on the territory of the Crimean peninsula says that pensions and financial aid are to be paid to the citizens of Ukraine through the Ukraine’s post offices.
The Minister told that this procedure eliminates any attempt to obtain two pensions at once – from the Ukrainian government or Russian authorities.
The Minister added the government has specified the procedure for registration of property located in the territory of the Crimean peninsula, having adopted the resolution on country-wide registration of ownership rights to the property located in the temporarily occupied territory.
The government bodies in Kherson and Zaporizhia oblasts have been delegated the duty to register the immovable property in Crimea.
