According to the data from the Research Centre at the global job portal HeadHunter Ukraine, a number of available vacancies lessened by 25% in June, while a number of resumes have remained unchanged as compared to the previous month.

The decrease that hit the job market hardest was recorded in the sphere of transport and logistics (36%), accounting and finance (34%), sales (30%), and procurement (31%). Job opportunities for top-managers and inexperienced specialists reported a considerable reduction - 37% and 34%, respectively. The decline in other job offers was not so sharp, so a number of staff management vacancies went down by 9%, in the sphere of construction and jurisprudence it is 11% and 12%, respectively.

In June the majority of vacancies open were for a programmer specialist and sales manager. So, in June a number of programmer jobs fell by 27% as compared to the previous month. However, as a rule, this sphere is least subject to the impact of a crisis. The top ten sought-after jobs are as follows: marketing, those involving young specialists, production, administrative personnel, and jobs offered in the sphere of tourism and banking.

The labour market in the regions shows no change. The job market crash has been reported to go on in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. Similar to the previous month, a number of vacancies reduced nearly twofold. In the oblasts adjoining the territories where the anti-terrorist operation is taking place there is recession in the labour market, what other regions in the country demonstrate, too. Traditionally, the capital city offers a larger number of job opportunities.
