The Pension Funds of Ukraine informs
As of July 1, 2014 the average pension grew up to 1560 hryvnias 98 kopecks that is 34,89 hryvnias more than a half a year ago, the press-office of the PF of Ukraine reports.
According to the current data, the total expenditure on pensions and other scheduled social security benefits equaled UAH 124,9 billion that is UAH 0,4 billion more as compared to a similar period of the previous year. 65,3% out of total receipts are personal income, which reached UAH 81,6 billion that is UAH 0,5 billion more from January-June last year.
Around UAH 41,9 billion were earmarked from the government budget to funding pension schemes, what matches the planned figures.
Throughout the first half a year of 2014 the government bodies dealing with disbursement of pensions have assigned pension credits to 272 thousand retirees, including 6,04 thousand pensions given to former servicemen. The pensions of 294 thousand retirees who are still at work have been recalculated taking into account an insurance term, length of service and salary after the date of pension assignment (previous pension).
