Prime-Minister says he will combat embezzlement
«We’ll launch the most large-scale privatization than ever. Government-owned companies that have been stuck in corruption instead of boosting the development of the country should be privatized», - said Prime-Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatseniuk on Thursday, July 10, while speaking at the Third All-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum, the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.
Mr.Yatseniuk noted that next week the government of Ukraine will discuss the draft law to define a list of enterprises not subject to privatization.
Arseny Yatseniuk enumerated the state-owned enterprises and holdings he thinks to be «inefficient companies the goal of which is to steal the money under government guarantees»: «I can prove it based on figures», - the Head of the Ukraine’s Government underscored.
«We’ve created a huge machine for collecting money, for fleecing people – through permits, certificates of various kinds», - he added having reminded that 20 permits had been already cancelled.
