The endorsement of the financial plan
The financial plan of the international airport Boryspil approved by the government dd. July 9, 2014, №638-р envisages an increase in net income by 50% – up to UAH 189,6 million, as compared with the figures for 2013, the press-office of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.
The growth of revenues is backed by rise in efficiency of use of commercial space, first of all, terminal complex D. Furthermore, the enterprise has minimized its expenses.
Hike in exchange rates for the Ukrainian hryvnia against foreign currencies had an impact on both revenues, what ensued after setting the airport basic fees in US dollar, and on expenditure caused by revaluation of the currency credit portfolio.
Signing of the financial plan will facilitate development of the airport, boost the improvement of the airport infrastructure and expansion of technical capabilities of the air gateway in providing services to the airlines and passengers. First of all, the concept of rendering services to the international and domestic airlines «under one roof» will make it possible for transfer passengers to check in for a connecting flight at the main air gateways of the country as quick, easy and comfortable as possible.
It’s worth noting that the draft financial plan was analysed and reviewed by the recognized international audit firm before being endorsed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
