The closing date for applications from entrants who attempt to enter higher education institutions is August 1, 2014, 12.00, except institutions in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts that will accept applications till August 15, 2014, 12.00, (applicants who will not be successful at interview and creative workshops, will take entrance exams), the press-office of the ministerial department reports.

As of today, July 31, 2014, 09.00 a.m., a number of applications registered in the Uniform National Education Database total 2039414 submissions from the entrants who wish to do a degree of Young Specialist, Bachelor, Specialist, Magister, the press-office of the Ministry of Education reports.

paper applications registered – 1 269 885 applications

filed to higher education institutions of І-ІІ accreditation – 317 591 applications

filed to higher education institutions of ІІІ-ІV accreditation – 1 721 823 applications

filed to higher education institutions to get a young specialist degree – 306 287 applications

filed to higher education institutions to get a bachelor degree – 1 302 320 applications

filed to higher education institutions to get a specialist degree – 283 462 applications

filed to higher education institutions to get a magister degree – 147 345 applications

Rating of higher education institutions in terms of quantity (in relation to the academic levels enumerated above) is as follows:
