The National Land Agency will hold auctions
Starting from October 15 this year the National Land Agency will conduct public land auctions to sell land plots for agricultural purpose owned by the government (except the land plots currently used), to boost husbandry and farming, the press-office of Vice Prime-Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman reports.
A list of land plots to be put up for sale at auction will be posted on the official website of the agency.
Moreover, from that date local councils will tackle any issues arisen in relation to management of land for agricultural purpose, registered as government property, more precisely, how to obtain an approval for draft required documents concerning land layout, its distribution and use.
Besides, the National Land Agency should ensure that bodies of local self-government have an access to the data kept in the Public Land Cadastre from January 1, 2015, in a read-only mode. In particular, a special pilot project will be launched before adoption of required legislative amendments.
Some decisions specify the way of entering the information to the land cadastre.
Thus, from January 1, 2015, extra data on 1.5 million land plots given before January 1, 2013, will be added to the Public Land Cadastre, with accompanying e-documents being automatically transferred to the Public Register of Real Estate. In addition, the National Land Agency should eliminate possible errors and discrepancies in the data available in the PLC.
