The debt makes up $74.3 billion
The government guaranteed debt of Ukraine as of September 30, 2014 totalled some 962 hryvnias, or nearly 74 million dollars, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports citing the Ministry of Finance.
As of August 31, 2014, the government debt of Ukraine made up around 945 billion hryvnias, or 69 billion dollars. Thus, during September the debt of Ukraine grew by 6.88% (or 4 billion dollars).
This includes the government foreign debt making up 540 billion hryvnias (56.18% out of total government guaranteed debt) or 41 billion dollars, the government domestic debt - 421 billion hryvnias (43.82%) or 32 billion dollars.
The government debt of Ukraine made up 803 billion hryvnias (83.52% out of total government guaranteed debt) or 62 billion dollars. The government foreign debt equalled 411 billion hryvnias (42.78% out of total government debt) or 31 billion dollars. The government domestic debt made up 391 billion hryvnias (40.74% out of total government debt) or 30 billion dollars.
The government debt of Ukraine made up 158 billion hryvnias (16.48%) or 12 billion dollars, including: foreign debt - 128 billion hryvnias (13.40%) or 9 billion dollars; domestic debt - 29 billon hryvnias (3.08%) or 2 billion dollars.
