Updates from the Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Actual export volume is 12252 thousand tons, including wheat – 6701 thousand tons; maize – 2138 thousand tons; barley – 3274 thousand tons, other cereals – 139 thousand tons; grain loaded on board a ship – 370 thousand tons.
Thus, volume of grain exports and cereals prepared for export makes up 12622 thousand tons (wheat – 6777 thousand tons, barley – 3280 thousand tons, and maize – 2426 thousand tons).
Prices in the domestic grain market
Currently, the grain prices in the market are fluctuating, depending on the region: the 3rd class wheat– from 2240 up to 2700 hryvnias/ton; 6th class feed wheat– from 1850 up to 2350 hryvnias/ton.
Currently, the wheat prices are as follows: the 3-rd class wheat – 2439 hryvnias/ton; feed wheat – 2007 hryvnias/ton.
The barley price averages 2117 hryvnias/ton; the maize – 1743 hryvnias/ton.
