Polygraph Combine Ukraina publishes a new sample of the passport
Polygraph Combine Ukraina has published images of a new biometric passport. The press-office reports it will look like a travel passport with the only distinction – a chip embedded in the cover. In addition, the representatives of the enterprise noted that the look of the passport, its design, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in May, Vgorode portal says.
So, it won’t look like a driving license.
“The protection of the data stored in the biometric passport is of highest quality due to state-of-the-art security features. The specialists of the enterprise thoroughly examined this issue, and firstly produced the paper designed by the banknote paper mill of the NBU. It contains yellow-blue fibres with a filigree water mark in the form of Golden Gates, designed in line with the international standards”, - told Director of the enterprise Maxim Stepanov.
He is of the opinion that the pages of the document show all stages of the history of Ukraine starting from the Trepillia culture till nowadays. Ukraina has assured of being ready to print passports just today.
