The National Statistics Committee’s data
In Ukraine (excluding the temporary occupied territory of Ukraine and Sevastopol city) the industrial producer price index in November 2014 was 104.2%, as compared with 99.3% in October of 2014, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports, citing the data provided by the National Statistics Committee.
As compared with December 2013, the price index for industrial products stood at 131.8%, while in November 2013 it was 132.8%.
As regards mining and mineral field development, the prices in November raised by 2.4%, including coal mining - by 6.6%, natural gas - by 1.2%. Along with this, price of metal ore dropped by 0.3%.
The products of processing industry grew by 2.8%. Moreover, the rise in prices for coke and coke products reached 8.1%, chemical substances and chemical products – 6.0%, electrical equipment – 4.0%, metallurgical products, ready-made metal products, except apparatuses and equipment – 3.2%, refined petroleum products - 2.5%.
As regards manufacturing of food, beverages and tobacco products, the prices grew by 2.2%, including vegetable oils and animal fats - by 8.9%, ready-made livestock feed - by 4.7%, flour-milling and grain processing - by 3.2%, meat and meat products - by 2.2%, tobacco products - by 1.4%. Along with this, sugar prices went down by 7.8%.
The selling prices of electrical power supply, gas, heating and air conditioning increased by 8.7% due to rise in cost for electricity - by 9.6%.
