The number of retirees in Ukraine exceeds the number of officially employed people by 500 thousand persons, the Minister for Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko reports, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
“It’s a pity that a number of registered pensioners exceed the number of people that pay social security contributions today. There are around 13.5 million pensioners and approximately 13 million legally employed people that pay social security contributions to the Pension Fund”, - said Rozenko.
He underscored that such downward dynamics occurred last year.
