The nominal income of the Ukrainian population in the 3-rd quarter of 2014, as compared to a similar period in 2013, increased by 4.3% and made up some 396 billion hryvnias, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports citing the data from the National Statistics Committee.
The wage costs made up over 158 billion hryvnias (+5.7%), profit and mixed income – around 83 billion hryvnias (+8.6%), proceeds from real estate transactions – some 23 billion hryvnias (+8.9%), social security benefits and other current transfers – over 130 billion hryvnias (-0.6%).
Disposable income that can be used by the population for purchase of goods and services increased by 4.4% and made up over 318 million hryvnias, while actual available income, reckoning with the price factor, fell by 9%.
The disposable income per capita in the 3rd quarter of 2014 made up 7 400.2 thousand hryvnias, or an increase by up to 331.6 hryvnias, as compared to the previous year.
Expenses of the population in the 3rd quarter of 2014, as compared to a similar period of the last year, grew by 2.2%. The growth of savings made up some 36 billion hryvnias.
