In 2014 - about 425 billion hryvnias in taxes and revenues to the consolidated budget

The statistic for 2014 shows that some 425 billion hryvnias were deducted to the consolidated budget, so revenues rose 12.2 billion hryvnias, or 3 percent, compared to the previous year, including 336.7 billion hryvnias that replenished the government coffer showing an increase of 16.2 billion hryvnias as compared to the figures for 2013, with revenues to the local budgets amounting to 88.3 billion hryvnias – dropped 3.9 billion hryvnias, or 4.3 percent, as compared to 2013, the press-office of the National Fiscal Service reports.

In 2014, the consolidated budget showed a surplus of 381.7 billion hryvnias – an increase of 22.4 billion hryvnias, or 6.2 percent, as compared to the previous year, including the government budget amounting to 293.4 billion hryvnias, showing an increase of 26.3 billion hryvnias as compared to the figures for 2013.

The surplus of the general fund was 271.7 billion hryvnias - 20.1 billion hryvnias, or 8.0 percent, higher than in 2013.

In terms of basic payments in 2014, individual income tax receipts showed an increase of 67.2 percent (or 5.1 billion hryvnias), VAT payable on imports to Ukraine raised by 11.1 percent (or 10.7 billion hryvnias), VAT chargeable on goods made in Ukraine (surplus) increased by 21.4 percent (or 6.6 billion hryvnias), charges for use of bowels raised by 39.8 percent (or 5.2 billion hryvnias), excise duty levied on taxable goods (products) made in Ukraine – by 6.7 percent (or 1.6 billion hryvnias), charges for transit of natural gas via pipelines throughout the territory of Ukraine – by 37.3 percent (or 0.3 billion hryvnias), excise duty charged on the goods (products) imported to Ukraine  – by 32.0 percent (or 0.7 billion hryvnias), tax for use of radio-frequency spectrum – by 42.6 percent (+ 0,4 billion hryvnias), tax levied on exports – increased 2.8 times (or 0.1 billion hryvnias), etc.

The budget revenue amounts scheduled by the Ministry of Finance from tax on income of enterprises were received in full – 100.1 percent (+ 0.05 billion hryvnias), export duty – 275.2 percent (+ 0.1 billion hryvnias), surcharge on the existing rate of electricity and heating supply –102.3 percent (or 0.06 billion hryvnias), charges for transit of ammonia via pipelines throughout the territory of Ukraine – 110.9 percent (or 0.009 billion hryvnias), excise duty levied on taxable goods imported to Ukraine – 101.6 percent (or 0.05 billion hryvnias), etc.

The VAT refund to taxpayers amounted to 43.3 billion hryvnias.

The social security contributions stood at 181.1 billion hryvnias.

revenues to the consolidated budget in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts decreased by 13.2 billion hryvnias (71.3 percent) during 2014, as compared to the previous year, in particular: in Donetsk oblast – by 10.0 billion hryvnias, in Luhansk oblast – by 3.2 billion hryvnias.
