The budget shortfall in the Pension Fund of Ukraine this year, as set out in the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, On Approval of Pension Fund’s Budget for 2015, will be almost 19 billion hryvnias, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
‘The receipts of the PFU this year, accounting for remaining money, may reach almost 174.2 billion hryvnias, with over 168 billion hryvnais in social security contributions making the lion’s share of the money received“, - the document says.
In addition, the author of the article underlines that budget spending on subsidies, in particular, subsidy of pensions, and allowances assigned under different pension schemes can exceed 61.8 billion hryvnias.
To sum up, total receipts of the Pension Fund will surpass 236 billion hryvnias, while expenditure, with that of the national treasury, will make up 253.4 billion hryvnias.
