In Ukraine (excluding the temporary occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city), petrol sold at filling stations in January 2015 amounted to 138.1 thousand tons, or by 34.1% less than the figures for a similar period a year ago, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports, with reference to the National Statistics Service’s data.
Sales of petrol with octane number of А-95 made up 45.5% out of total sales, А-92 – 0.1%, А-80 – 0.2%, А-98 - 54.2%.
Diesel retail sales in January 2015 equalled 100.9 thousand tons (showing a decrease of 22.1%), liquefied gas – 32.3 thousand tons (by 3.4% more), and compressed gas - 6 thousand tons (by 28.4% less).
Mealtime, total value of light oil products and gas at the filling stations in December 2014 was some 5.650 billion hryvnias, with 3.097 billion hryvnias (54.8%) in retail petrol sales, 1.994 billion hryvnias (35.3%) – diesel sales, 465.3 million hryvnias (8.2%) – liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane) and 93 million hryvnias (1.7%) – sales of compressed gas (methane).
As of February 1, 2015, remaining petrol at the fuelling stations amounted to 99.9 thousand tons, 60.8 thousand tons – diesel fuel, liquefied and compressed gas – 8.1 thousand tons and 0.08 thousand tons, respectively.
