As of January 31, 2014, the sovereign guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to over 1,113 trillion hryvnias or 68.911 billion dollars, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports citing the data from the Ministry of Finance.
As of December 31, 2014, the government guaranteed debt of Ukraine made up above 1.100 trillion hryvnias or 69.794 billion dollars. Thus, within January the debt of Ukraine reduced by 1.26% (or 883.208 million dollars).
Moreover, on accounting reference date the government guaranteed debt stood at some 616.623 billion hryvnias (55.38% out of total debt) or 38.162 billion dollars, while domestic government guaranteed debt equalled 496.838 billion hryvnias (44.62%) or 30.749 billion dollars.
Meantime, the sovereign debt of Ukraine made up 959.780 billion hryvnias (86.20%) or 59.400 billion dollars. In particular, the external sovereign debt amounted to 490.758 billion hryvnias (44.08%) or 30.372 billion dollars, while domestic government debt totalled 469.021 billion hryvnias (42.12%) or 29.027 billion dollars.
The government guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to 153.681 billion hryvnias (13.80%) or 9.511 billion dollars, including: external guaranteed debt – 125.864 billion hryvnias (11.30%) or 7.789 billion dollars; domestic guaranteed debt – 27.816 billion hryvnias (2.50%) or 1.721 billion dollars.
