The National Committee on Regulation of Energy and Utilities Services has passed a decision to raise the average price of electricity for households in 5 steps. At its meeting held on Thursday, the committee approved the draft resolution, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
The first increase in proces, as has been decided, will take place in April 2015, the second – in September 2015, the third – in March 2016, the fourth – in September 2016 and the fifth (last) - in March 2017.
In sum, the average prices of electricity supplied to the population will increase 3.5 times till April 2017.
